Proper surface preparation
Our experienced painters are experts at exterior masonry painting and can easily identify any potential problems like mould or crumbling stonework. We will rectify the problems before applying two coats of trade quality masonry paint. We prefer to use either Dulux, Weathershield or Sandtex paints which give up to 15 years guaranteed protection, but we can also use different top-quality brands if required.
As far as woodwork is concerned, once again it is all in the preparation. We remove any excess, loose or flaking paint to get back to the paintable wood before filling with a proprietary wood filler. We would then prime bare wood and then coat it with either undercoat, gloss or at least two coats of a water-based product such as Teknos Aqua Solid
